A few days after the release of the second song ‘What Jhumka’ from Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani, lead actors Alia Bhatt and Ranveer Singh dropped the video of the behind-the-scenes of the song. The duo had a blast laughing and enjoying the vibe of the song while shooting the big dance number.
In the video, Alia Bhatt says, "In a Karan Johar movie, a song is like another character." Ranveer Singh added, "There was unanimous agreement. We had 200-300 dancers on set and everybody was just telling one another how this song is gonna bang."

The song is an homage to the 1966 song ‘Jhumka Gira Re’ from the movie Mera Saaya. However, the song only uses the instrumental of it instead of recreating the entire track. The song has been crooned by Arijit Singh and Jonita Gandhi with rap verses from Ranveer Singh.
Viacom18 Studios and Dharma Productions present A Dharma Productions film, Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani, produced by Hiroo Yash Johar, Karan Johar, and Apoorva Mehta, is all set to hit the big screen on 28th July 2023.
